As an award-winning national association for independent martial arts, the BMABA upholds some of the strictest safeguarding protocols in the sector. Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts has been created to give parents and carers peace of mind when searching for martial arts clubs suitable for children or adults in their care.

The Safeguarding Code 'mark' is recognition that a martial arts club or individual has demonstrated that they have reached and maintained good safeguarding standards.

Funded by the National Lottery, this scheme was launched by the Sports Minister in early 2018.
